Abstract: Quantum chaos explores the chaotic behavior in quantum mechanical systems, where nonlinear dynamics result in unpredictable time evolution. The gravity/gauge duality, which establishes an equivalence between gravitational theories and boundary quantum field theories in the large 𝑁 limit, serves as a bridge between gravitational physics, condensed matter, and quantum information theory. This duality offers deeper insights into quantum chaos from a cutting-edge perspective. In this report, we will present two holographic approaches to quantum chaos: (1) the pole-skipping  phenomenon, highlighting the non-uniqueness of the holographic two-point function at specific points associated with chaotic parameters, and (2) holographic Krylov complexity, which quantifies information scrambling and is proposed as an order parameter for  quantum chaos.
